Since this kit does NOT include any brushes- there may be additional items you may want to consider adding if you do not have them at home already are:
**Check out our "Hannah's Kit....THAT is the BOMB! An all natural bristle Paint Brush. We carry a couple Purdy brushes available here on-line for sale and also Annie Sloan's paint brushes. I love them all, but I seem to use the 1.5 inch Purdy brush the most.
Click HERE to see that 1.5 " Purdy brush.
Also, sand paper is ideal to create a worn distressed look. We sell both the 220 grit and 400 grit.
Eventually, if you plan to continue painting additional pieces, the Ultimate Wax Brush is strongly suggested as an addition to your panting pantry.
Your budget is important though...so if an Ultimate Wax Brush is not an option..be thorough in reading waxing instructions. And if you DO consider purchasing an Ultimate Wax Brush....then you may want to check out the Advanced Kit we offer, which comes with 2.
Lastly, we either like to cut up old worn men's t-shirts for wiping off the residual wax during the wax application. We also like to use Cheese Cloth. It has texture and grips the extra wax nicely. (Make sure to shake out cut up rags or Cheese Cloth prior to use to remove any loose threads! You do not want that lint or those threads being impregnated into your wax)
Otherwise, this is a great start!
