The bristles on this brush are 2 inches wide. Take note that this brush has a handle that is a little over 8 inches long - which means if you have a petite hand, this may be an issue balancing when painting. I would use this brush on larger jobs such as, painting a large hutch, shutters, a large table top.

I like to tie a ribbon around the end of my paint brushes and then hang them to dry with the bristles pointing down so gravity assists in the drying process.
