This oversized Denim Duster is made from a lightweight denim and adorned with stitched stars and a moon phase graphic along the left front panel. The front collar features the words "Star Child". Star is printed in white ink on the right side and measures 7" long and 3.75" tall. Child is printed in white ink on the left side and measures 7.6" wide and 3.75" tall. The front is able to be closed using 3 snap buttons that extend 11" down the front of the jacket. The remaining 29" does not have any snap closures. The stars scattered around the entire jacket are embroidered jean material. Accompanying the embroidered stars are printed blue and white stars. The blue stars are outlined with a navy stitching.
The back hosts an embroidered UFO made of tan and charcoal colored linen. The UFO is off center on the right side and measures 9.5" wide and 4.5" tall. Rays extend from the bottom of the UFO made of faded linen in the following colors: Coral, Mustard/Yellow, Light Teal, Olive Green, and Navy. The back is split into two panels with a seam running down the middle. 6" down from the collar is the word "Star" cut from a light linen and stitched to the denim. The entire word measures 15" wide and 4.5" tall, each letter is roughly 4"wide, 4.5" tall.
Neck, Sleeves, and Bottom of dress have all been distressed. All edges of the duster and appliques are frayed to give additional texture.
