These pants are made from a light salvaged denim. The base of the pants are a light muslin color with various paint splatters in shades of white and light grey.
Butterfly appliques have been quilted on in various places. Two large butterflies have been appliqued onto the front and back of the jeans. The thorax of the front butterfly sits at the base of the button fly for the jeans. All butterflies are multicolored in a watercolor fashion. Their stitching in a dark gray color. The butterflies range in size from the largest at 12" wide, to the smallest at 1.5" wide.
Along with the butterflies, patches of floral fabric have also been adhered using a slipstitch in an ivory color. The floral panels are a similar color as the denim and have faded red flowers with green accent leaves. Other floral patches can be seen peeking out of torn sections of the denim. Holes in denim with frayed edges reveal small floral panels beneath.
The waist of the pants includes 3 differently colored buttons. A red, blue, and white button can be used to vary the sizing of the jeans. The front fly of the jeans consists of 3 buttons (2 white, 1 red) that are hidden by an overlaying panel. The back of the waist includes an adjustable strap to further tighten the waist.
The two pockets in front have a standard 6" opening and are 9" deep. There are no back pockets.
The cuffs and waist of the pants are distressed slightly, leaving the edges slightly scuffed and worn.
